Angela's first stage appearance since 2006 [5-05-10]

Although, Angela will not be singing we have put together an entertaining show that we are calling "The Angela Bofill Expierience" as told by Angela and sung by Maysa. The show will be a narrative and musical presentation of the songs most relevant to her career. Beginning with video footage of her jammin' days in Central Park, and peppered with footage of her appearances on The American Music Awards, with Micheal Jackson, The Tonight Show, and Soul Train. Angela will be doing, on-stage narratives, about the tunes, with some humorous anecdotes. Since Grammy Winner Dave Valentin, has played an important part in her career, he will be a part of the show serving up some inside dialogue, and fabulous flute. The incredible voice of Maysa, formerly of Incognito fame, and now with a successful solo career, will grace the stage with her vocal portrayal of Angela. The opening of the show will mark her first public appearance since her stroke in 2005, and will take place at The Rrazz Room, in San Francisco July 22 - 25. To add to the excitement, of the four night engagement, special guests, and close friends, Phill Perry and Norman Connors, will also be performing. After the show Angela will meet and greet her fans to personally thank them for their support. Other dates scheduled are in Detroit, July 28, And a special sailing of The Smooth Cruise, ( two sailings ) aboard The Spirit Of New York, N.Y.C. I'll be home for CHRISTMAS [12-16-09]

After years of hard fought recovery, and therapy, we are happy to announce that Angela will be released from the Vallejo Center on December 19th. She plans on continuing her therapy on a private basis, and we ask for your continued support. Her speech and mobility have improved greatly, and she is now able to travel on her own. She acknolwedges that without the moral and financial support from her fans, her great progress would not have been possible.
